Capital Campaign for a New Centre: Project

 

The current center, housed in a semi-permanent building next to a bustling market, is in urgent need of a permanent space. We aim to purchase land nearby and build a new, permanent center with separate dormitories, classrooms, and outdoor spaces for recreation, agriculture, and a healthier environment. This new facility will be a miracle for the children, giving them the chance to grow and learn in a space where they feel safe and valued.

Ongoing Expenses:

​

1.            Food: Annual Goal: USD $20,000 / Ksh 2,600,000

​

•   $75 feeds a child for a whole year, or less than $7 per month!

•   $56 covers medical costs for a child for an entire year.

 

2.            Education: Annual Goal: USD $30,000 / Ksh 3,800,000

 

•   $75 covers an elementary child’s school fees, uniforms, books, and supplies for a year.

•   $250 sends a secondary school student with everything they need for the year.

•   $500 sends a student to university or for vocational training.

 

3.            Medical Needs: Annual Goal: USD $1,500 / Ksh 180,000

 

4.            Center Expenses: Annual Goal: USD $6,000 / Ksh 800,000
